I wrote blogs for Yotspot’s Community Newsfeed for 3 years. As superyacht crew recruiters (on and off shore) they’re considered the Facebook of the yacht crew world. I was tasked with writing regular, newsworthy content every month, sometimes tackling uncomfortable truths about the impact we’re having on our oceans.

It’s great to cover the good news though and this one was the launch of The Ocean Cleanup’s System 001 , on tow from San Francisco. The first in their mission to rid the world of the ocean’s plastic, reducing the concentration of plastics in the oceans by 90% in 2040.
