Don’t let AI dull your senses

Fettling, that’s what it needs…” the builder said as he explained the workings of our new door.

A new word that got my attention.

The Oxford definition “Fettling: to trim or clean the rough edges of (a metal casting or a piece of pottery.”

Obviously I love words, I generate them. But, like you, I spend all day reading them too, so to come across a new one is a lovely thing. It surprises and intrigues me.

So may I offer a little advice? Next time you’re wrestling over a blog or playing input/output tennis with Ai, don’t settle for tired phrasing or drab words.

Push harder, delve deeper and add a dash of colour and verve to your copy.

No, not JARGON.

There’s the health warning.

You want to entice the reader to keep going, not hinder their route to enlightenment!

Good Luck!
